🏷 Public Health Internship Abroad in Africa — Community Health & Awareness Program in Ghana
My summer internship with Pro-Passion Projects (2nd to 30th August 2026) was a very meaningful and enjoyable experience.
I learned a lot about community healthcare, especially through shadowing the community nurses during clinic days and home visits.
I was able to interact with families, learn about childhood vaccinations, growth monitoring, health education, and basic health screenings.
I also met many wonderful people and gained a better understanding of the importance of bringing healthcare services directly to communities.
Overall, I had a good summer and I am very grateful for the opportunity and everything I learned from the experience.
