Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey, there's a place for you at Pro-Passion Projects Ghana. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and create positive change in our community.

Our volunteers work tirelessly Monday through Friday, under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants.

Here's a breakdown of the activities and services typically undertaken in each of these areas:

  • Speech Therapy:

Assessment and Diagnosis: Speech therapists assess individuals to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.

Individualized Therapy Plans: Therapists develop personalized treatment plans to target specific areas of need, such as articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice disorders.

Therapeutic Techniques: Therapy sessions may involve a variety of techniques, including articulation exercises, language drills, social communication skills training, and the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

Parent and Caregiver Education: Therapists provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on how to facilitate communication development at home.

  • Physiotherapy:

Assessment and Goal Setting: Physiotherapists assess individuals' physical abilities and functional limitations to establish treatment goals.

Social Skills Training: Therapists facilitate social skills groups and structured activities to help individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) develop social communication, perspective-taking, and friendship-building skills.

Sensory Integration Therapy: Individuals with autism often have sensory processing differences, and therapy may focus on regulating sensory input and promoting self-regulation.

Family Education and Support: Therapists provide families with information, resources, and strategies for managing everyday challenges and promoting positive interactions with their loved ones with autism.

Gross Motor Skills: Activities and exercises aimed at improving coordination, balance, strength, and endurance are incorporated into therapy sessions.
