Hands-On Medical Experience for Students in Ghana
This program allows students to combine clinical observation with practical community service, building a strong foundation for future medical studies. Students keep weekly journals, reflect on their experiences, and receive a completion certificate.
Community Health Outreach (2–3 Days a Week)
- Participate in supervised health campaigns in schools and communities.
- Observe malaria testing, nutrition checks, and public health demonstrations.
- Assist with health education on hygiene, sanitation, and malaria prevention.
Clinic & Facility Observation
- Observe how healthcare teams organize patient care.
- Attend briefings and discussions led by medical staff.
- Tour local clinics and hospital departments to understand the healthcare system.
Academic & Reflection Work

Typical Weekly Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (clinic observation or outreach).
- Twice Weekly: Community outreach activities.
- Weekends: Cultural excursions, rest, or optional supervised visits.

- High school and pre-med students aged 16+.
- Students interested in medicine, nursing, or public health.
- No prior experience required — just curiosity and passion to learn.

- Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
- Medical or academic reference (if available).
