At Pro‑Passion Projects, a Ghana-based NGO, we believe in empowering communities through sustainable development. Our Women & Youth Empowerment Internship offers you the chance to volunteer or intern remotely or in-person — supporting young women and girls in underserved areas of Accra.

Who You’ll Support

Through this internship, you’ll engage with the “Achievers Girls”, a group of young women aged 13 to 17 years from a Muslim slum community in Ghana. Your role helps them build leadership, life-skills, and opportunities for a better future.

Key Activities

• Conduct research and create awareness materials for youth and women’s programs.
  
• Contribute to advocacy campaigns promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
  
• Assist our Ghana team with online reporting, documentation, and community-impact storytelling.
  
• Support digital outreach and content creation to highlight project success and engage stakeholders.
  
• (For in-person interns) Mentor the girls, run workshops on leadership, health, vocational training, and economic empowerment.

Program Support & Fees

Please note: this internship is unpaid. As a nonprofit, we ask participants to contribute a program fee that covers accommodation (if on-site), meals, airport pickup, 24/7 staff support, and project logistics. Many past interns from the U.S., UK, France, Netherlands, Japan and Korea have covered these costs through university travel grants, scholarship funding, or personal fundraising like gofundme link campaigns.
