About the Placement

This internship provides structured exposure to hospital-based nutrition therapy, outpatient dietetic services, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Interns observe and support registered dietitians and nutritionists as they deliver evidence-based dietary management for patients across multiple medical specialties.

Placements run Monday to Friday and are suitable for 2–12 weeks, depending on academic requirements and availability.

Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) is the largest teaching hospital in Ghana and a leading referral center in West Africa. The Nutrition and Dietetics Department plays a critical role in patient care, disease management, and preventive health services across the hospital.
